PEOPLE
Our approximately 28,000 employees make our success possible, and we strive to deliver meaningful career experiences to ensure we can attract, develop and retain a dynamic and talented workplace.
Employee Development, Engagement & Well-being
KDP invests in enabling a dynamic, equitable and rewarding environment where we enable conversations at the team level to create a great place to work. Our programs foster open dialogue and frequent feedback to support employee engagement and we offer robust benefits, well-being and development opportunities to support our employees in advancing their careers. All of our employees have an opportunity to be part of making their workplace better.
Diversity & Inclusion
We are continually refining our people processes such as hiring, onboarding and development to ensure a level playing field for everyone to thrive. We have a formalized diversity & inclusion structure with executive sponsorship, strong governance processes and clear goals and milestones to measure progress and hold ourselves accountable. We have set employee representation goals to help ensure our organization increasingly reflects the consumers and communities we serve. In addition, thousands of our employees participate in our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), bringing together employees and passionate supporters who represent the unique characteristics, experiences, and perspectives of our diverse teams. The ERGs focus on four pillars – culture, company, career and community – to build programming for members and drive awareness and education across the broader KDP organization.
Employee Health & Safety
Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our employees is a top priority at KDP. We provide our employees with the training, tools and resources they need to safeguard their health and that of their families, and we empower them to put safety first. Through teamwork and enhanced safety measures, we are dedicated to reducing risk and improving operations to create the safest environment possible for our team.
COMMUNITIES
KDP’s commitment to creating meaningful social impact in the areas in which we live and work allows us to enrich communities and engage employees.
Corporate Community Impact Partnership
In 2023, we announced a multi-year partnership with the Red Cross, the largest humanitarian network in the world, initially providing support to families and communities in need across the U.S. and Canada. In addition to our $1.5 million commitment in financial support, we will offer in-kind product donations and empower our employees and customers to support positive local impact and community resilience through efforts such as volunteerism, blood drives in the U.S., food drives in Canada and emergency relief efforts.
Employee Giving & Volunteer Programs
KDP’s employee match and volunteer program – Engage for Good – raises donations for nonprofit organizations. Employees are allotted eight hours per year of paid time off to volunteer in their communities. Additionally, we collaborate with our ERGs to support activations with specific causes and organizations tied to their mission.
Disaster Relief
Our beverages, especially water, provide hydration and comfort to communities in need amid crises and natural disasters. We continue to donate beverages in the wake of natural disasters resulting from snowstorms, wildfires, floods and hurricanes. Additionally, we provide grants to KDP employees through our Employee Relief Fund. This fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, provides financial assistance to KDP employees and their family members who experience a disaster or emergency hardship.
